If You'll Fork-give, I'll Fork-get (Utah Family Photography)

I have only two things to say about this family: Mystery Men and Rootbeer Floats. Could there be a family more kindred to my own? I think not. I have the feeling this is the first of many hilarious and wonderful portrait sessions with these fine folk. Just remember, I will keep dreaming - and when I wake up you better hope you're... asleep!

Looking at these wonderful spring blossoms, I can't help thinking we only have about three more months left until things aren't pretty outside anymore. Sheesh! I feel like I just barely stopped waiting for the good weather, and now it's almost gone! If you are contemplating any type of location portrait session, please don't put it off for too much longer.

Spring Blossoms part 1 (Utah Family Photography)

This wonderful couple and their little "family" are some of my favorite people. We kept things nice and easy this time around, using the fantastic KD Portrait Garden. Sessions here are SO easy for everyone - pets, families, little kids. I'm never worried about offending the owners (my parents! They have to like me!) or fighting for a turn (only I get to use this!) It's fantastic. If you want a portrait session in the garden, let me know. The hollyhocks are in bloom now! :-)

Professional Wedding Photography (Utah and Arizona)

I have the absolute thrill to be able to photograph this unbelievably gorgeous couple on their wedding day next month. We did a grand engagement/pre-wedding portrait weekend a couple weeks back, and I am sending in their finished images for canvas printing this week. Can I just say that the only way these two faces could be any prettier would be to print them on true emulsion-inlaid canvas? I may have to print one or two just to hang in my house. :-) Anyway, I know there are way too many images in this post, but I love the multi-colored theme they have going on, and I really did edit lots already. If you want more, check them out on my Facebook page. You guys are truly amazing at heart, I love you both!

If you haven't "Like"d KD Portraits on Facebook yet, now is the time! I am offering the biggest portrait sale I've had since 2008 (wow - I originally had 1998 listed here! I'm off by a whole decade. How's that for a bad sign?), but I am only giving details on Facebook. Don't miss out on this amazing offer - Like us now, and tell all your friends!

Dumbledore's Army (Utah Child Photography)

Potter Fever is hitting an all time high in my house. We are anxiously counting down the hours and minutes until what has to be the biggest movie premiere in our house-hold history. Last month I did some portraits of our favorite Hogwart's students, and despite spells being blasted left and right, we had a great time. Thanks to all my wizards and witches for being willing to take time out of their studying for my muggle photos. How I wish with all my heart I knew how to make these images move! Here's to you Harry, and all the great things JK Rowling has done for literature, the truly magic at heart, and those of us who are still hoping for our Hogwarts letters.

PS I think I'm more excited for Neville's big moment in this movie than any other scene!! What scene are you dying to see?
