As a small business owner, I appreciate and like to use other local small businesses. I have had several extremely positive experiences lately, and this has prompted me to do a weekly spotlight on local business that have impressed me. Hopefully, this will help spread the word, as well as generate some business for them. I want it understood that I am NOT being paid or compensated in any way for doing this - in fact, most of these businesses probably won't even know I'm posting a spotlight on them. It's my way of just saying thanks to them for great products and services.
This week I had the great fortune to find Zeus Printing. As a family, we do all kinds of crazy and fun events, like the Percy Jackson Party we hosted for the premier of "The Lightning Thief." I had tried to do make some custom tee-shirts for the event, and used an ink-jet heat transfer paper for the logo. It turned out TERRIBLE! It was glossy in the "clear" areas, and the black didn't transfer completely in some areas.... lesson learned - seek a professional! I didn't have much time as I started looking for a custom tee-shirt printer on Sunday evening, and the party was scheduled for Friday that week. I did a Google search, and came across the Zeus Printing website. I didn't think there was much chance I'd find anyone who could do the order with such a short time-frame, but Jami from Zeus Printing emailed me directly on Monday morning, and told me she could have all ten shirts done by Friday morning! Her quick response and promise that she could meet my deadline totally sold me, and I sent her my design (which was an incredibly easy task via email.) She kept in contact with me the whole week, and on Friday morning delivered my order directly to my house! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my tee-shirts, and our party was a huge success. Everyone at the movie theater was asking us where we got our shirts, and my only regret was that I didn't have enough of Zeus Printing's business cards to pass out. Thanks so much, Jami - you totally made our night!
