It's a Fine Life, carrying the Banner! (Utah Dance Studio Photography)

Ok, ok, I know I'm not a very impartial judge here, but I think this may be my very favorite image from my Wasatch Arts Center photographs this week. This is MY little star in her costume for her musical theater performance, in which she and her class are performing "Seize the Day" from Newsies. You should see me try to keep it together when she starts going into "Neighbor to Neighbor... Father to Son!" I mean, this is MY DAUGHTER singing NEWSIES here, folks. I must get a tissue....

Calling all Newsies fans: I want to know what is your favorite Newsie moment? For me, it's still when Jack hoists little Les onto his shoulders, and he shouts, "We beat 'em!" Either that, or any scene with Spot Conlon. Ah, those dreamy blue eyes and that bad-boy attitude! For Brooklyn!
