Dancing through a pile of work (Utah Dance Studio Photography)

When I disappear for days from the blog, you may think it's because I haven't been working, so I don't have anything to post. This is not the case, and in fact, the exact opposite is true. I have been plowing through the dance portraits I created last week for Wasatch Arts Center, and I may not surface for several days yet. Here's some fun facts for everyone this year:
  • I photographed about 250 students this year in 35 classes.
  • I only dropped my camera on the floor once.
  • I'm now going through 2112 images - choosing, processing, finishing, and compiling the best ones for everyone's packages.
  • I decided to tackle the mound alphabetically this year, so I started with Ballet 1, and will end with Pre-Ballet. I'm about 30% done at this point with processing and finishing.
I know everyone is very excited about their portraits this year, but I beg you to please be patient while I am finishing this mountainous task. I also ask those who have other portrait orders to please be patient too, as I am working on orders in between dance classes as I can. I really love this time of year, and I love photographing dancers. Here's a few Ballet images to whet your appetite:
