Pink Pink, You Stink!

I think it's funny that I know several people who think pink for little baby girls is too much... well... pink. My dear older sister is one of those people. She did NOT want to have portraits of her girl all in pink. We started with the doll images because that was the most important for her from this session. She has collected porcelain dolls all her life, and really wanted a portrait of her first real dolly with her other favorite girls (I do love the sweet blue velvet dress!)

Then we moved on to stuffed animals and an adorable red modern number.

At what we thought was the end of the session, I asked if I could pretty pretty please do some really PINK photos on the pink rug with pink flowers - (GAG! I know some people are thinking.) But I happen to LOVE pink on baby girls, so I had to try!

After I got going, though, my sister was totally on board, and she went digging through the suitcase full of clothes to find a pink ensemble for little V. The last image of the day was so funny we were crying and shaking from laughing so hard, and I just couldn't hold my camera still any longer! Thanks for being a good sport, Nin, and letting me go all out pink with your girl.

They are fun!
My favorite is the Doll one because I have lots of them like your sister also! It would look cute Black and white.

How can anyone not like pink??

I learned of you through your neighbor at our daughter's dance class. I am a fellow photographer...a fairly new one with only a year under my belt. But I love looking at others sites and seeing all the amazing work, and your is no exception! I expecially love the incredible sets you build. (YOURSELF?!?!) WOW! I will check back often!
