Photography Education at its Finest

Problem: You have been doing photography professionally for many years, and need a spark to reignite your creativity. Or, you are just getting into photography, and you want to know how to take your images to that next level. Or, you just want to know how to elevate the fine-art element in your images. Or, you want to learn how to make money doing all of this crazy art stuff.

Solution: Michael Gan and Leslie Artis-Gan. These two Masters of Photography and multi-award-winning artists are coming to South Jordan on August 2nd to discuss the "Spirit and Soul" of photography, and how to turn it into dollars. The seminar is being hosted by IPPA (Intermountain Professional Photographers Association) but you do not need to be a member to attend this valuable evening of education. I attended Michael and Leslie's workshop in Dillon Beach, CA last year, and the level of my photography, and my understanding of how to tell a story in an image increased so much that I was able to get those four loan prints this year. I'm telling you - you do NOT want to miss it.

The education begins at 2:00 with Jaron Horrocks of Graphic Authority. He will be demonstrating how to do layout and graphic design in Adobe Photoshop. If you do any digital scrapbooking in Photoshop, or want to learn how to create your own custom greeting cards, albums, etc., this class will be immensely helpful. Then Michael and Leslie will begin at 6:00 pm.

The most amazing thing is you can attend both of these seminars for only $59 (member or non-member) or you can choose one for only $49. I went to the movies with my kids last night, and we spent almost twice that. Trust me - this investment will pay for itself if you are in the business of selling photographic images.

**UPDATE** I just found out that Bay Photo Lab, who is sponsoring the event will be giving away a lab credit of $59 to one lucky person, essentially making the event FREE!! To be eligible for the prize, you must PRE-REGISTER by July 30.

Go to this link to register, and I'll see you there!
