Hugs and Kisses Event 2010

Hooray, it's almost Valentine's Day! I love Valentine's day for one reason: cute cards! I always send out a Valentine card to my family members, which may seem a little redundant because I just sent Christmas cards less than a month ago, but I always feel a little off-the-hook on my Valentines. It's a chance for me to just do something fun, and not have to worry about meeting a certain image, or updating everyone on my life. It's just a chance to say, "I love you!" Here is my Valentine from last year:

This was a 4x5 accordian-folded card on metallic paper. It was GORGEOUS! Can you tell I had a really hard time editting images of my kids?

Anyway, I would like to invite you to attend my Hugs and Kisses event for 2010. I'm doing it a little different from last year, in that there will not be a "Valentine Theme" set. Wear whatever you'd like - red, pink, black or chartreuse. I am offering a mini studio session and 50 Valentine bookmarks for $59. This is a savings of over $115! The bookmarks can either be all from the same design, or 25 each of two different designs. These full-color, double sided bookmarks make the most amazing Valentines for your kids to pass out at school and to their friends. I promise nobody else will be handing out anything this charming. The event runs from January 25 to the 30th, and limited session times are available. Hugs and Kisses was very popular last year, so I suggest you call immediately to reserve your appointment. (801) 556-1661 or email kris@kdportraits.com

If you would rather have a traditional Valentine with envelope, I will also be offering 25-4x5 Valentine postcards with a mini portrait session for $59. There will be two completely new styles to choose from, but here is an example of last year's. The cards are full color on both sides, and include envelopes. This is the perfect opportunity to send a shout out if you didn't have the time or desire to do a Christmas card.

I love the picture of Kittie in her white dress, sitting on the chair, looking down. Cute cards, very cute cards!
