Gift Certificate Event

I don't know why, but for some reason, my Christmas Rush hit about a month ago. I have been so busy since returning from Europe, that I haven't had time to even finish my laundry! I know, TMI, but there is a point to all this rambling: I know there are several of my best clients out there who were waiting for a Fall Portrait Event. Because I just didn't have time this year to support one, I had to make the hard decision of not hosting a regular event this season. However, I do want to say thank-you to everyone, so I am offering the following:

Through November 26, all Gift Certificates up to $100 in value will be 50% off. This means you can buy a $100 Gift Certificate for only $50. Buy one for everyone on your list, or just save one for yourself to use next spring! This Event will only be advertised by direct e-mail to my current clients and on this blog, so spread the word to everyone you know.

Also, because I'm trying to draw out you lurkers out there, and reward people who actually read my boring posts without photos, I will give a $35 Gift Certificate to one randomly drawn person. To enter, just leave a comment on this post about why you want portraits for Christmas! I will draw the winner at 9:00 pm on Saturday, October 25. Thanks everyone for being so understanding and loyal. You are the reason I love my job!

I would love new portraits because nothing captures time better than portraits. From you they are priceless works of art.

I love getting new portraits every year, and leaving them up on my walls so I can see how much my family changes over time. So can everyone else who comes into my home.

I love your work and shared with my whole office the great outdoor shots you took of our family! Just the thought of more photographs of the kids for Christmas gets me excited all over again!!! What a special gift. OK, so I especially love Christmas time when you can find the most beautiful dresses for little girls... or at least my husband thinks that's why I insist on a photo session every year at this time. But, in reality, my twins have their birthday in December and a Christmas portrait helps document the special memory for me. Thanks for your great work. - Yvonne

Pictures are a snapshot in time. Something that you have to remember after the memory starts to fail (like mine). I love looking back at all of my own and my families pictures and remembering things that remind me of. I especially like Christmas ones because everyone (especially kids) are so happy. Something that can never be faked. There is always that gleam in everyones eye in anticipation of Santa Clause and all that the holiday excitement.
