Every year for mother's day, I do portraits of my kids for my Moms. I haven't done BW portraits of them for a while, so for that reason, as well as the Black and White Studio Event coming up, I wanted to create some more dramatic backdrops for my studio. I spent the weekend painting, and came up with two very different, but VERY cool backdrops. The problem is, now I love the color so much that I don't want to turn them Black and White. Anyway, I haven't done my youngest's portrait yet (she was NOT cooperative this morning.) so I'll post that when it's done too.
This is also a final call for anybody interested in booking a session at last year's prices. Studio sessions were only $65, and location sessions were $120. I could still squeeze in one or two more sessions before April 1 if anyone is interested in saving a little bit (initial investments after that time will be $250 studio or location, with $100 going towards your finished portraits.) Also, there are still appointments available for my Black and White Studio Event and my Spring Garden Event, so call soon to reserve your session!
