Its a Marshmellow World

I made it! Lab deadlines have come and gone, and all that's left is to make sure everything is picked up before Saturday. I am feeling much merrier now that I don't have hours and hours of work hanging over me. Last week we had an awesome snowstorm that dropped perfect snow all over us. Although we get the white stuff regularly all season, this kind of deep, packing snow only seems to happen two or three times a winter (if we're lucky.) This is the kind of snow that kids dream about, and Christmas carols are written about. It brings neighbors out of their houses, and invites them to play outdoors together. These are the days I hope my kids remember, and make me so grateful to be a photographer!
